An exciting leadership opportunity presents at Epworth Eastern, Box Hill for a dynamic and visionary leader in the role of Associate Director of Clinical Services (ADCS), Perioperative. Epworth Eastern is a progressive, patient-focused private hospital known for clinical excellence and innovation located in Box Hill.
This role offers the chance to lead a highly committed and passionate team across a diverse portfolio of perioperative services, driving high-quality outcomes and shaping the future of surgical care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong leadership, vision, and direction, as well as highly effective operational management of perioperative clinical services.
You will make an impact by-
- Managing the operational and business direction of the Perioperative Services inclusive of Operating Theaters, Endoscopy, Cardiac Cath Lab, Ekera (IVF), CSSD, PACU, Day of Surgery Admissions and Short Stay Unit, within the strategic direction of the Epworth Eastern Hospital.
- Ensuring the efficient and effective use of human and financial resources to ensure positive clinical outcomes, exceptional customer service and to grow market share.
- Focusing on theatre utilisation, growth, business development, risk management.
- Building engaged teams and developing a culture of excellence and accountability.
Your Role will include
:
- Driving excellence in clinical outcomes and patient experience.
- Leading strategic workforce planning and recruitment.
- Aligning clinical education with operational needs.
- Achieving key performance indicators across fiscal and operational domains.
- Contributing to business development and theatre utilisation strategies.
- Working closely with Epworth Doctors to driven surgical and procedural activity

You Will Be An Experienced Nursing Leader Who-
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with all key stakeholders,
- Is passionate about patient-centred care and clinical excellence
- Has a solutions-focused mindset and leads change effectively by bringing people on the change journey
Essential Criteria-
- Current unrestricted AHPRA nursing registration
- Postgraduate qualifications in leadership or management
- Proven experience in a senior clinical leadership role
- Contemporary knowledge of clinical service trends and workforce planning
