**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Based at the Werribee Mercy Hospital Social Work Department
- Permanent full time position supporting patients admitted to the medical wards
- Provide quality client-focused care to patients, their family and carers, using a holistic approach and contribute to quality/innovation projects and service development in the department

**ABOUT YOU:
- Grade 1
- Qualified social worker eligible for membership to the AASW
- Previous experience in a health service desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated time management and organisation skills, client focused interventions and a strong team approach
- Grade 2
- Minimum 2 years' post qualifying experience and eligibility for membership to the AASW
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills, strongly developed multidisciplinary teamwork capabilities
- Sound knowledge of current evidence based practices and commitment to continuing professional development and research
- Prior hospital experience is highly desirable
