About the company & the role
We are currently supporting our client, a large global law firm who is expanding their talent advisory team here in Australia. This is genuinely an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a change You could be in a HR co-ordinator role looking to step into Early Careers; you could be in marketing and events planning looking to pivot into a recruitment advisory role, you could be early in your internal recruitment career looking for another portfolio to add to your skillset based in either Melbourne or Sydney.
The main responsibility of this role is the organisation and coordination of end-to-end student hiring for the internship & graduate programs. Key tasks would include:
Liaising with the marketing & Business Development teams to develop marketing and branding materials for annual recruitment campaigns
Assisting with developing social media campaigns and their execution, bringing new creative ideas to engage students with the firm through social media
Working with university societies and managing sponsorship packages (ie) attending events, purchasing tickets, working with marketing to design the marketing materials, facebook / instagram live events
Organising the calendar of events and attraction initiatives from March-September - on university campus, in-house events and online (social media, lives etc)
Leading the Graduate Attraction and Recruitment committee during campus season - using your superb excel and organisational skills to set the calendar of events, manage the budget, work with the solicitors to ensure all events run smoothly, promote events, provide recruitment and diversity metrics at fortnightly meetings during campus season
Running through the interview process from screening, liaising with hiring managers, assisting with program facilitation, making offers, and bringing in the new interns and graduates into the business, being their point person before they join
About you
**Success in this role would ideally need**:
Exceptional organisational ability
Intermediate excel expertise
Great communication & presentation skills
The ability to travel interstate during intern and grad season being the face of the organisation to this early careers’ cohort
Experience in marketing, events organisation, HR coordination / advisory or a desire to grown your career into the early careers space
Partnering experience, working with the team, the hiring leader and the interns & graduates coming into the business
