The EnergyAustralia - Customer Assets mandate is to expand our portfolio of dispatchable consumer energy assets and drive significant growth in the customer base.

The Customer Assets Team is a multidisciplinary team developing new and innovative solutions that help the transition of the way energy is produced and managed. We provide industry knowledge and skills for the opportunities our business is pursuing. Our expertise covers all aspects of the behind the meter systems, including Virtual Power Plants (VPPs), storage solutions and new energy generation assets. We keep abreast of innovative technologies, monitor our competition and trial new opportunities.

The Market Commercial Analyst will report to the Customer & Products Leader and will be responsible for monitoring the market and competitive environments, contributing to the development of new customer propositions, and analysis of product commerciality and performance.
- Relevant qualifications in business, mathematics, engineering, economics, law etc.
- Demonstrated mature and innovative approach to problem-solving with a strong ability to formulate, synthesise and analyse unstructured complex problems to provide meaningful advice and insights
- Strong social, collaboration, and communication skills in technically complex material to a wide variety of audiences and stakeholders including senior management
- Ability to operate independently in a small-business (type) environment engaging in rapid business expansion
- Must be able to manage the expectations of our stakeholders and have the ability to build relationships across the business, to remain open to new ways of thinking and doing, to challenge respectfully and to be challenged
- Must be able to work individually but also as part of a high-performing team
