**Job Description**:
Location Sydney and Melbourne.

The Commercial Analyst role is a key role within the Business Management and Optimisation team at Lifebroker and is responsible for the effective delivery of all commercial related accountabilities and management of all financial aspects of payments and reporting for commercial partnerships.

The role is accountable for planning, co-ordination and management of commercial and contact centre monthly/annual planning processes in conjunction with Sales Management stakeholders and the Senior Commercial Manager. This includes collating sales and revenue budgeting, forecasting, staffing alignment, lead reconciliation and contingency planning. This is a critical function that requires a methodical approach and an ability to manage stakeholder expectations at all levels of the organisation. The Commercial Analyst will also be responsible for driving monthly reviews, creating, refining business critical processes.

In this role you will:

- Manage end-to-end insurer and alliance partner commission processes, including calculation, validation, reconciliation, and accrual preparation.
- Continuously enhance commercial processes for efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery, with proper documentation.
- Produce accurate, timely and insightful Management and Operational reporting, including MD, performance, board, and alliance partner packs.
- Collaborate with operational business partners to deliver accurate sales forecasts, and communicate key drivers, risks, and opportunities clearly to the business.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of market dynamics such as competitor analysis, market share, demographic trends, and growth projections.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role you will have,
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business highly desirable.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with proven experience in Power BI and SQL (preferred).
- Solid management reporting and analysis experience.
- Collaboration and influencing skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen, critical reasoning, and analytical skills.
- An understanding of the comparator/ aggregator distribution model and Australian life insurance market and regulatory frameworks.
