Single Digital Presence (SDP) is the Victorian Government's publishing platform, built for government by government. SDP is consolidating government websites and making it easier to find, understand and use Victorian government information.

We are seeking a Back End Lead to join the Digital branch and lead a team of developers responsible for implementing the highly customised Drupal CMS that drives the content editor and approver experience of the SDP program, named Tide.

As the Back End Lead, you will provide technical direction and own the roadmap for Tide. You will write well designed, testable, efficient code using software development best practices.

You will build, maintain, improve and document reusable code and modules for future use and inclusion in the department's Drupal 9 distribution, Tide.

We are seeking someone who has successfully lead and mentored a team, is confident providing feedback and is committed to continuous improvement. Whilst we value your technical experience, the ability to guide and empower the team is imperative.

**About You**
- Knowledge of web technologies such as PHP, preferably in a Drupal context.
- Experience leading a development team and providing feedback
- Practitioner experience with web technologies such as: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript. Familiarity with Nuxt.js, Node JS or Elasticsearch
- Proven experience to achieve results

**Mandatory**
- Tertiary qualification in computer science or similar, or currently completing this qualification.
