**Overview of the role**

The Vendor Relationship Manager is a key role responsible for the day-to-day management of supplier relationships, using your strong relationship management and negotiation skills to ensure win-win outcomes for both Suncorp and suppliers. You will support the T&T Domains with the development and management of vendor and supplier resource plans, creating genuine partnerships with suppliers and monitoring their engagement with internal teams, and collaborate with T&T Domains, Partnering and Procurement on agreed vendor strategies.

The role works closely with the T&T executive, Partnering, Group Procurement and other stakeholder to ensure suppliers are segmented appropriately, arrangements meet the needs of the T&T function and establish the appropriate governance and performance management framework.

You will maintain a consolidated view of T&T domain contracts, and supplier arrangements to ensure commitments and investment requirements are considered and reflected in T&T business planning.

**What you’ll do**:

- Manage external vendor relations & performance while building strong partnerships
- Implement and manage vendor governance framework and supplier review processes
- Coordinate T&T Domain partner and supplier pipeline and planning.
- Perform as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders.
- Ensure T&T wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring are being accomplished, track supplier performance
- Resolve supplier performance and governance issues & coordinate development and tracking of improvement plans, if required; resolve disputes and manage escalations
- Identify and continuously enhance efficiencies associated with vendor management
- Ensure collaboration to assure Strategic Vendors/Partners are effectively managed plus contracts are completely leveraged.
- Provide oversight on stakeholder satisfaction survey process and actions identified
- Monitor and report contractual agreements for T&T Domain vendors & provide visibility of the pipeline.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Experienced commercial professional with ideally 5+ years’ experience working in a large (+5,000 FTE) organisation with complex environments
- Experience in a centralised commercial/ITO/product environment, providing services to a broad customer base
- Demonstrated experience in achieving and being accountable for tangible commercial results
- Experience in influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, and delivering quality outputs within tight timeframes
- Experience in working with others in a (preferably commercial) strategy setting role
- Experience managing direct reports, mentoring and leading to deliver outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methods and change management are essential
