Operations Analyst

**The Opportunity**:
Excellent opportunity for an Operations Analyst to support the Operations team with identifying business improvement opportunities, resolving critical system and process issues and to recommend solutions aimed at improving the way we serve our customers.

The role will be accountable to the Process Manager Operations and can be worked flexibly from home and our Southbank office - hybrid work model.

Reasonable requests for part time work will be considered.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct workshops with internal and external stakeholders to bring forth requirements, identify process/system issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform analysis and report on cost-benefit and return on investment to evaluate project success against objectives.
- Gather and analyse data to provide insights into improvement opportunities and support decision making, and undertake accurate and in-depth root cause analysis of identified issues
- Create and update project documentation (e.g., requirements documents, project plans, progress reports) to support work tracking and reporting to stakeholders.
- Develop, update and present a suite of reports detailing the performance of various Operations functions

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in business requirements elicitation and documentation with sound data analysis and reporting skills, preferably gained from highly regulated environments. You are action oriented and can manage multiple priorities from different projects whilst balancing stakeholders. You seek process improvement opportunities and can conduct root cause analysis to understand underlying issues to problem solve.

Experience working in the retail energy industry will be well regarded.
