Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a ICT Administration Officer on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.
**Position Purpose**
The ICT Administration Officer plays a key role supporting electronic document and record management using Microsoft 365, MS Teams and SharePoint Online. The role also supports information management strategies, policy and practice that is collaboratively created, clearly articulated, consistently structured, is secure and accessible.
**Duties**
- Assist to research, analyse, interpret and create Information and Knowledge management documentation.
- Assist in the development of effective and efficient process and tools for the management of Information and Knowledge in OCIO.
- Work collaboratively to deliver consistent and structured Information and Knowledge management articles.
- Assist in maintaining and ensuring document control measures are adhered to.
- Communicate to a variety of clients with differing levels of ICT information and knowledge.
- Prioritise competing requests in a calm and efficient manner while also maintaining a high level of work standards.
- Ensure all knowledge articles and documentation is accessible across all mediums.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Additional duties as directed by the Assistant Director and/or Director.
**Essential Criteria**
- Demonstrated experience using information and records management systems (EDRMS or ECM), Microsoft 365, SharePoint, MS Teams and One Note.
- Actively contributing to the implementation of the Information Management support and change agenda for the department including operations activities to support Microsoft 365 information management projects.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to meeting agreed work targets and standards.
- Demonstrate a very high level of attention to detail and the ability to develop and/or review and revise related documentation.
**Qualifications**
- Demonstrated minimum of 3 years' experience in ICT general administration
- Qualifications in Information Management or a similar discipline are desirable
