**Our Client**

**The Role**
The department has a requirement for ICT Procurement Officers within the ICT Services Division. The successful applicant(s) will operate within a small team (IT Vendor Engagement). The IT Vendor Engagement team is made up of ICT contract management and procurement professionals who are responsible for providing high quality, cost effective and efficient advice to the division, as well as facilitating procurement and contract management within a framework that meets statutory, accountability and reporting requirements.

Specific duties will include:

- Undertake end-to-end procurement activities on behalf of the division.
- Manage contracts for goods and services to ensure delivery of outcomes aligns with contract objectives, government, and stakeholder requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicate and negotiate to ensure high-quality customer service.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance according to contract terms, risk management, and government policies and procedures.
- Provide timely and accurate advice and support on procurement and contracting, from simple to complex cases.
- Independently manage and monitor workflows, demonstrating leadership within the team.
- Perform other administrative functions related to ICT contract management as required.

**Skills + Experience**
- Experience working in a procurement environment.
- Strong working knowledge of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (PGPA) Act, and broader Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and policies.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to the change agenda.
- Motivated, flexible, and well-organized approach to work.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to hold or obtain a Baseline security clearance.
