You Will be Working with our client who leads the department’s digital agenda by partnering with stakeholders to co-design digital experiences, making it simpler to innovate, collaborate and communicate, and continue to evolve digital services using leading‑edge technology and smart design.
The area you'll be working in provides ICT support and underpinning infrastructure services to the department and the Ministers’ Offices, ensuring all staff in the department and MOs have access to stable and secure technology.
The Executive ICT Support team sits within ICT Operations and is dedicated to supporting the department’s Ministers, the Departmental Executive and SES, and various office holders spread across 20+ sites.
We are looking for an experienced ICT support officer who:
- Has a customer-focused approach to work and genuinely enjoys helping people with technology
- Works independently and with little supervision, and thinks and acts quickly in high pressure situations with a high level of discretion
- Has strong analytical / technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills across the wide range of technology
- Works well in a team and contributes to making a harmonious work environment
- Has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of the organization
What you will do:
- Provide video conferencing/AV support for meetings held by Ministers and senior executives with internal or external participants
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, and audio/visual issues
- Monitor the team mailbox and respond to enquiries and requests
- iOS Mobile Device Management (MDM) configuration, administration, and training
- Prepare and update knowledge guides for end users and technical articles for ICT administrators
- Travel interstate to help with ministerial office setups, decommissions, and relocations
- Provide 24/7 on call coverage on a rotational roster
