Cross River Rail will transform the way we travel to, from and through Brisbane in the future. It will be a catalyst for 10 years of wider rail transformation across the whole of South East Queensland and it is already playing a key role in how we prepare for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Cross River Rail is a new 10.2km rail line including 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD. It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class 'ETCS' signalling system.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects and to be a part of something that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Design and produce to specification, a range of print and digital publications including brochures, advertisements, presentations, multimedia, newsletters, banners, information flyers and templates.
- Interpret briefs from management and other project teams, liaising with individuals to clarifying and refine requirements.
- Interpret, simplify and design maps for use in construction notifications and community engagement materials.
- Shoot, film, edit and produce a range of photography, video and animation products specific to the Gold Coast stations.
- Providing accurate and timely technical advice regarding all publishing and production-related matters.
- Creating print ready graphics and desktop published documents for multiple purposes and clients.
- Liaising with and managing external agencies and contractors of design services and products.
- Visiting active construction sites to photograph or film activity or interviews.

About You
- Demonstrated ability to design and produce a wide variety of communication materials in print and electronic formats in a fast-paced environment, via standard studio traffic management practices.
- Demonstrated experience in photography, graphic design, publishing and print/production processes and proficiency in Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience working with large format print and displays, including billboards, signage, and digital projection.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple design tasks concurrently, meeting competing deadlines.
- Working knowledge, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with individuals and groups from various disciplines at all levels.
- Valid Australian Driver's licence to allow travel to sites in company supplied vehicle is desirable.
