A professional, respectful and loving family in Wentworthville, are seeking an experienced, calm and nurturing nanny to care for their 1 yr old baby boy.

**The days and normal hours are:

- 2 days - 18 hours per week**

**Wed and Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm**

An ideal nanny will be experienced, loving and patient. A nanny that can follow the baby’s routine and is good at structuring their day and keeping on household running smoothly.

A nanny that is active, bubbly/fun and enjoys planning age appropriate and fun indoor and outdoor activities which will aid in the baby’s development. A nanny that is flexible and can adapt to the different needs of the baby whilst supporting and working alongside the Mum (Mum is currently on maternity leave).

The family are looking for the nanny to become part of their family, nurture and take care of the baby and stay with them on a long-term basis.

The family have two small dogs so you will need to be comfortable being around pets.

**The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows-**
- To care for the baby (feeding, bathing, nappy changes)
- Follow the baby’s routine
- Play and engage age appropriate activities to assist in the baby’s development
- Cook and prep meals for the child
- Take the baby out for walks
- Assist with some light household duties, vacuuming, moping, clearing surfaces, unstacking/stacking dishwasher, sterilising/cleaning baby bottles.
- Family laundry and changing bed sheets
- Helping Mum out with miscellaneous tasks and assisting around the home whilst the baby is having his sleeps.

**The family's expectations from their nanny are-**
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny/child care experience
- Childcare qualifications preferred but not essential
- Young baby experience
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children's check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Non smoking
- Up to date with all vaccinations
- NSW Drivers Licence and clean driving record
- Able to cook
