- Contract: 12 months with the possibility of extending long term
- Pay: From $35 per hour depending on experience

We are seeking a nurturing and calm nanny/mothers helper to assist a loving family in Northbridge. The nanny will be responsible for caring for a happy 2 year old boy.

**The days and normal hours over days -2day - 12 hours per week**

Wednesday 8.00/9.00am - 4.00/5.00pm

Thursday 9.00am - 1.00pm

An ideal nanny will be calm, nurturing and patient with a friendly/happy personality.

A nanny that has a genuine love of children and can dedicate their time to the child and enhance his learning and development on a daily basis. Be able to plan, play age appropriate activities(indoor and outdoor). The nanny will need to follow the child’s routine.

The family is looking for a nanny who adapts well, is responsible,safe, reliable, punctual and can commit to the role on a long term basis, building a lovely relationship with the whole family.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- Care for the child
- Provide routine and structure
- Provide age appropriate activities (plan, engage, play)
- Take the child out for walks/park/playground etc.
- Meal prep and simple cooking for the child
- Run errands (occasionally)
- Walk the dog (If time permits)
- Child laundry
- Folding
- Assist with light household duties -Clearing surfaces and cleaning up after meals, tidying up toys after playing and encouraging the child to help.

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 3 years + experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Child care qualification (preferred)
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Toddler experience
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active and enjoy the outdoors
- Non smoking
- Basic cooking skills
- Full Drivers licence
