A fun loving and busy family in East Ryde are seeking a gentle and nurturing nanny/mothers helper to care for their children (3 yr old boy and newborn baby girl)

**The days and normal hours are:

- 3 days - 24 hours per week**

**Wednesday 12pm - 8pm**

**Thursday 10am - 6pm**

**Friday 10am - 6pm**

An ideal nanny will be friendly, kind, calm and nurturing.

A nanny that is experienced in engaging and having fun with the children providing stimulating and creative indoor and outdoor activities which will support the children’s learning milestones and development.

The family are looking for a nanny who is reliaable, trustworthy and can form a lovely bond with their family and support Mum with the day to day running of the household and give Mum some time to attend appointments/meetings when required.

Someone who has a genuine passion and love of children and enjoys supporting busy families.

Prior experience with these different age groups and caring for multiple children at once is highly advantageous for this role.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the children
- Follow the children's routine
- Play and engage age appropriate creative activities/outings to assist in the children’s development
- Prep and cook family meals on occasion
- Light household duties ie Laundry, tidying, stacking and emptying dishwasher, washing up (bottles and sterilising), vacuuming if needed
- Any extra assistance to help Mum out would be greatly appreciated
- Grocery Shopping and Running errands

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 3+ years experience as a nanny/mothers helper or working in child care
- Childcare qualifications preferred
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Non smoking
- Able to prepare and cook basic family meals
- Full drivers licence required and clean driving record
