We currently have an exciting role in our Community Learning Team in the Library Service.

**Key responsibilities of the position include**:

- Provide welcoming, knowledgeable customer service which supports the community’s access to Library services such as information and resources, technology, programs and spaces.
- Plan, develop, deliver and evaluate programs for children (0 - 12 years) that support the development of literacy, social, technology and critical thinking skills.
- Supervise and guide the work of library officers, agency staff, trainees and volunteers.
- Engage with the community and form strategic partnerships with other service providers to develop and deliver programs that support the wellbeing, literacy and learning needs of children and families.
- Will be required to work some out of hours, evenings and weekends to support the operational requirements of the library.
- May work across all City of PAE Library sites and outreach locations, as required.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Early Childhood Education, Teaching, Libraries, or significant experience in relevant fields (desirable).
- Experience providing front line customer service in a community setting.
- Experience (two year’s minimum) in programming position in a community/educational organisation is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and engaging effectively with child learners and diverse cultures.
- Experience working with neuro-diverse children is highly desirable.
- Current WWCC & Vulnerable Person Related Clearance (or willing to obtain).

This is a Level 3 position which has a current salary range of $80,915 - $87,019 (plus Super).
