**About the role**:
We are seeking an experienced receptionist/administrator for a short term contract through to the end of September 2025. The role will support our current receptionist and admin team during our busy tax season. To be successful, you will be a reliable team player who enjoys working together to ensure the smooth operation of our reception function. If you are confident to be able to hit the ground running and passionate about helping people, this will be a great short term opportunity.
- _Hold a current and valid driver’s licence_
- _Have access to motor vehicle to run firm errands from time to time_
- _Have previous experience working in a fast pace and supportive environment_
- _Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a variety of clients_
- _Resonate with our firm core values_
- _Display initiatives and ability to manage multiple tasks_
- _Strong Microsoft office skills_
- _Experience with Xero will be highly regarded_

**Tasks & responsibilities**

The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Welcoming clients upon arrival
- Managing incoming calls
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail
- Team diary management
- Preparation of client files ready for client meetings
- Database maintenance
- Ordering stationery and office supplies
- Ad hoc firm errands
- Ad hoc administrative duties

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 2 years (preferred)
- Administration: 2 years (preferred)
- Xero: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 16/06/2025
