Brisbane, Australia Energy and Water Ombudsman Queensland Full time

The Community Outreach Officer will develop and deliver outreach and awareness raising programs to nurture and grow strong, purposeful connections with community and stakeholder groups, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and other vulnerable consumer groups and target audiences.

- Assist with the development of an annual outreach program, coordinate actions, and monitor and report on the impact of the program in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent EWOQ at public events, including presenting to community groups and forums on our dispute resolution role.
- Develop and maintain a central register of stakeholder contacts and activities.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, submissions, briefing notes, presentations, policy, and other documents, as required.
- Research and propose innovative approaches to community outreach and awareness raising.
