OnTalent is partnering with Rosies – Friends on the Street to recruit an Outreach and Volunteer Manager for a full-time, maternity leave backfill position based in Murarrie, with some intrastate travel.

This is a leadership role with real purpose, overseeing the volunteers and outreach programs at the core of Rosies' mission to connect with people experiencing homelessness, disadvantage or social isolation.

You will manage the full volunteer lifecycle, ensuring each outreach shift is safe, welcoming and aligned with Rosies' values. This includes providing leadership, guidance and hands-on support to volunteer Branch Coordinators and the Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator, ensuring they are equipped, connected and empowered to deliver safe, high-quality outreach across all locations. You will also oversee the Rosies Youth Engagement Program, guide Rosies' involvement in the Gold Coast Safer Schoolies Initiative, and foster strong community partnerships.

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Leadership experience in community services, health, volunteer management or related areas
  • Demonstrated success in engaging, training and retaining volunteers
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational delivery
  • The ability to engage authentically and respectfully with people from all walks of life
  • A genuine drive to bring inclusivity, dignity, value and respect to every individual we meet
  • Comfort working at both the coalface and in a management role, with a willingness to step in where needed
  • A current driver's licence, Queensland Blue Card and the ability to pass a police check

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on community engagement. You will work from the Murarrie head office, spend time in outreach hubs, and engage directly with volunteers and partners to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
