
Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Office Assistant to join our legal team.
This role seeks to assist our head legal principal, Kate, and our legal team to support the smooth and efficient operation of our law firm - a tight-knit, relationship-focused law firm that works in the areas of Estate, Succession and Property Law.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Respond to enquiries using the Adler Legal "voice".
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
- Schedule appointments and meetings (virtual and in -person).
- Assist Kate and the team with administrative tasks.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment
- Look to the organisation and tidiness of the office.
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in an office or legal environment is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment
- Experience with LEAP SOFTWARE is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information
- Professional appearance and demeanour.
**Working Conditions**:
- Two (2) or three (3) days a week.
- Cosy office in the Cooperage Building on Bowman Street in Pyrmont.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
