As an
Assistant Front Office Manager
at The Star Grand, reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of luxury hospitality, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals in one of the most iconic and prestigious properties in Sydney. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and an unparalleled guest experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will build memorable connections with both our team members and guests.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Ensure that the highest standards of guest service are achieved and maintained upon check-in and during our guests stay
- Manage The Star Grand Loyalty Program and affiliated programs
- Ensure all guest comment cards are distributed to relevant departments and respond to guests when required
- Assist with the people planning requirements including recruitment, rostering, training and development of the team
What we are looking for:
- Proven leadership experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-centric approach
- Knowledge of Opera property management system
- Flexibility availability including evenings and weekends
