Information Security Assurance Coordinator

By official title, this is a Security Operations Analyst position within a large-scale program modernising healthcare technology. However, you will be off the tools and be embedded in a delivery stream alongside infrastructure and integration engineers, functional analysts, and a delivery lead.
Since this isn't a hands‑on technical role, you'll be responsible for coordinating security assessments, managing reporting, and ensuring strong communication between internal stakeholders and external partners.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate third‑party security assessments, penetration testing, and vendor assurance reviews
- Collect and validate artefacts, reports, and evidence related to security posture and compliance
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams and external partners (including Microsoft partner and other vendors)
- Translate technical assessments into clear insights for non‑technical audiences
- Contribute to security governance, assurance, and risk management activities across the program
About You:
- Experienced in security operations, risk, or governance across complex enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Microsoft ecosystem preferred) and vendor security processes
- Excellent communicator - confident liaising with senior stakeholders and external partners
- Knows how to turn technical data into concise, actionable information
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple streams of work effectively
