**About the Role**

Based at our Head Office in Hindmarsh, we have a fabulous opportunity for a ‘switched on’ People Manager to oversee the work our staff perform at a range of client sites. An AGC Account Manager liaises closely with our clients, and uses our extensive resources to deliver on the agreed cleaning specifications across a range of metro locations. As one of our trusted Account Managers, we empower you to make the right decisions that ensure the operational requirements of commercial cleaning contracts are met. These include;
- Building and maintaining client relationships we already have in place
- Overseeing the day-to-day management and scheduling of site supervisors and commercial cleaners
- Working within contract budgets
- Conducting cleaning inspections and audits to ensure compliance

This is a fast-paced role that would suit someone with a ‘Make it Happen’ attitude. You’ll need to be highly organised in your approach, and able to manage your team effectively to meet our clients’ expectations. This is a permanent fulltime position with occasional after-hours work required, responding to urgent client and employee requests, but the generous salary package on offer takes this into account.

**What you will do in your new role.**
- Manage day to day operations to deliver on key customer & financial KPI’s
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, cleaners, suppliers and our internal support team
- Determine staffing requirements for each site and onboard and train new staff
- Lead and manage Supervisors and staff by supporting their needs to work at their best
- Prepare work schedules and assign specific duties
- Complete monthly reports done on cleaning inspections and audits you conduct
- Assist us in preparing client proposals and tender responses
- Manage WH&S practices to achieve zero LTI’s
- Monitor individual and team performance and address learning & development needs
- Proactively manage staff performance issues, focussing on productivity improvement
- Support supervisors and staff - building required competencies by training, providing feedback, managing behaviours and performance gaps
- Ensure services are provided to the highest standard

**What do we require from you?**
- Ideally have experience in an account management role with a focus on service
- Although not essential, experience in cleaning services, waste management or hygiene would be an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office programs is a must
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Good attention to detail & be highly organised
- A practical understanding of WH&S processes
- Effective communication and negotiating skills
- Able to work flexible hours including after-hours and overtime as required
