Chandler Macleod are recruiting an Community and recreation bookings officer for a short contract with a Local government Client located near Hornsby.

**About the role**:
Reporting initially to the Manager Community Development, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Promoting Council’s community facilities, tennis courts, parks and community programs
- Acting as the first point of contact for booking enquiries, transactions and action requests
- Effectively managing booking and program enquiries
- Professional customer service to internal and external customers

**Required qualifications, experience & skills**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (bookings, administrative/clerical office work, community or recreation)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Current Class C Driver’s licence
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams) and bookings systems/programs
