**Role Purpose**:
As a **Scheduler/Network Planner** at **Kinetic**, you will play a vital role in **planning, scheduling**, and **rostering** our **Public Transport networks**. Working closely with our Planning Managers and Senior Network Planners/Schedulers, you will ensure our **networks operate seamlessly**, meeting the needs of our customers while driving efficiency and positive outcomes. This role requires adherence to our consistent processes in line with **the Kinetic Way**, as well as a focus on continuous improvement within our networks.
Kinetic operates nationwide across **Australia,** offering flexibility in location for this role. Preferred locations include the vibrant cities of **Gold Coast, Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane**.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Scheduling and rostering our Public Transport networks in Hastus
- Timely identification and rectification of network performance issues
- Reviewing network design and effectiveness using data-driven methodology
- Production, management, and delivery of the Planning Annual Plan
- Assisting in the production of Network Planning and Scheduling tender documentation
- Staying up-to-date with Hastus technology
- Contributing to negotiations for positive Public Transport outcomes with client stakeholders and Operational teams
**Qualifications / Education / Experience**:
- Minimum **3 years** of experience in scheduling and rostering software such as Hastus or Austrics is mandatory
- Experience in Continuous Improvement methodology such as Six Sigma preferred
- Experience using dashboard utilization software such as PowerBI preferred
- Strong communication, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and agile environment
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business operations and a positive attitude towards a continually changing work environment
