Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Town Planner to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in providing specialist town planning and development assessment advice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring members of the community and key stakeholders are provided with accurate, consistent and timely information in relation to road infrastructure and related activities on and around the state-controlled road network.

This role requires excellent communication skills to maintain effective liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Town Planning or another profession relevant to this role which is acceptable by the Planning Institute of Australia.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Experience in providing specialist town planning and development assessment advice.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practice of Planning Policy in accordance with Town Planning legislation, processes and policies.
  • Excellent communication skills in order to maintain and manage effective liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work within strict deadlines.
  • A Degree in Town Planning or in another profession relevant to this role which is acceptable by the Planning Institute of Australia.
