About the role..
Breakthru is proud to be selected by the Department of Social Services to deliver the new Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program across key regions in New South Wales and Queensland. This means we’ll be supporting more people than ever to access meaningful employment and build lasting careers — and we’re growing our team to help make it happen.
As Regional Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role within Breakthru, overseeing the delivery of Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) initiatives across your designated region. You’ll be responsible for driving performance, fostering inclusive practices, and ensuring our services empower people with disability to thrive in their chosen career.
Your focus will be on operational excellence, strategic alignment, and building strong community and employer partnerships that reflect our shared vision of a more inclusive workforce.
3 open vacancies overseeing Cairns, Townsville and Brisbane Employment Service Areas (ESAs), you will support a wide range of exciting job functions including:
Lead, support, and empower a high-performing team to successfully deliver IEA contract objectives across multiple ESAs.
Ensure high-quality service delivery that drives sustainable client outcomes and long-term success.
Promote a supportive and inclusive workplace culture that reflects Breakthru’s core values.
Drive regional performance, overseeing financial results and achieving key performance indicators.
Champion inclusive employment, promoting the benefits of a diverse workforce to employers and partners.
Identify growth opportunities and develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
Working in conjunction with Breakthru’s Performance Manager, identify and understand performance gaps and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Lead workforce planning, development, and performance to build capability and support operational excellence.
Collaborate across teams and regions to enhance client outcomes, service satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

You're a confident and collaborative leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. With a strong background in operational and financial management, you know how to balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership.
You bring a deep understanding of sector standards, a commitment to person-centred care, and the ability to motivate and support teams to achieve excellence. A natural relationship builder, you thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and are always looking for ways to improve services and strengthen results. You're values-driven, accountable, and ready to lead with integrity.
**Essential Criteria**:
Experience in disability or human services.
Leadership in disability employment or community service settings.
Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
Skilled in managing people, budgets, risk, and service quality.
A genuine commitment to inclusion, diversity, and community impact
Current Driver's License - essential
