**Cyber Security Content Writer**

Contract: ASAP - 9 months + 12 months extension

Location: Canberra (ACT)

Eligibility: Australian Citizen with an Active Baseline Clearance Only

Our Govt client is seeking a talented
**Cyber Security Content Writer** to contribute in providing vital cyber security advice and content for Australian businesses and individuals.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring guidance is clear, accessible, and actionable.

**Role Overview**:

- Research, develop, review, and publish cyber security advice tailored to different audiences.
- Produce content that aligns with ACSC messaging and the Australian Government’s Style Manual.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating on technical consultation, design, publishing, and promotional activities.
- Provide support for enterprise tasks, including urgent or ad hoc requests from senior executives and parliamentary reporting requirements.
- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment, fostering teamwork and group activities.

**Requirements**:

- Strong understanding of Information Security frameworks and cyber threat mitigation strategies.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills, with a focus on technical writing and content editing.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality outcomes in challenging environments.
- Effective administrative and time management skills, capable of prioritizing work and working independently.
- Demonstrated capability in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Knowledge of ACSC’s Information Security Manual and Essential Eight.
- Experience in the cyber security industry as a technical writer.
