Legal Services provides advice across a range of areas of law - planning and environment, property, corporate and commercial, local government and litigation. This administrative role supports the functions of each of these areas.

**Your responsibilities as Administration Officer are to**:

- Provide support to the Legal Services team on formatting documents, letters, templates and legal advices, and assist lawyers to produce precise documents in accordance with the department's style guide.
- Provide confidential and timely legal secretarial and administrative support to General Counsel.
- Maintain effective time management practices and diary management for General Counsel.
- Organize ASIC searches, land title searches, PPSR searches and couriers for the lawyers.
- Process Human Resource forms for the team and assist with recruitment related activities as directed by Practice Manager.
- Possess or ability to obtain advanced Source (or eDRMS) user skills to maintain accurate records for the legal team. This includes opening, closing, locating, securing and archiving legal files.
- Maintain the quality of data in the legal practice management system (Practice Evolve) - Create legal files; users; clients; maintain the integrity of the files; and prepare reports as requested by Practice Manager or General Counsel.
- Assist Practice Manager to organize legal capability training to be delivered to the department - manage invitations, book rooms, facilitate Microsoft Teams presentations, liaise with external law firms that deliver the training.
- Liaise effectively with visitors, clients and colleagues from private and public sector agencies.
- Order stationery, office supplies and IT equipment within allocated budget (use of Corporate Card).
- Actively contribute to, support and manage change in processes, procedures and systems by demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
- Undertake other duties as required by General Counsel or Practice Manager.
