This role is pivotal to ensure the operational needs are met efficiently and that inventory levels are optimised. Ideally you are a proactive, results-driven individual who excels in stakeholder management and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your day will include but is not limited to: - Manage supplier performance and improving reliability of supply- Negotiate prices and supply agreements while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers- Handle transactions across the supply chain for designated product ranges- Support inventory control and identifying continuous improvement opportunities- Report on inventory inefficiencies and working to eliminate them- Ensure all purchasing transactions align with the company’s strategic goals About you- Previous experience in a Buyer position or similar, ideally with 5+ years’ experience in purchasing and supply chain management.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with key internal and external stakeholders.- Strong understanding of commercial terms and purchasing processes, with ability to negotiate and influence.- Proficient in Microsoft suite including experience with ERP/MRP systems.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Sound decision making and time management skills.
