Therapy Focus are a non-for-profit, community service organisation who are specialists in individual therapy. We have a team of clinicians and administrative support staff, who work collaboratively to develop comprehensive, individualised therapy plans to meet the needs and goals of our customers.

**What's the position?**

We are in an exciting growth phase, and as a result we are looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary teams in Maddington and Bentley, on a permanent, part-time basis.

In this role you will manage a varied caseload, supporting people of all ages living with disability. This role will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in providing positive behaviour support services, developing behaviour support plans, and supporting the person with their wellness and quality of life. You will provide support to the business in various capacities, including clinical supervision, project and portfolio work, and ensure all activities are effectively and efficiently carried out in accordance with care, purpose and promoting the Therapy Focus values.

**What's required?**
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or relevant discipline
- Post-graduate qualifications in Psychology and Positive Behaviour Support will be highly regarded
- Previous experience working with people who demonstrate behaviours of concern, teamed with hands-on experience with complex cases
- Current knowledge of clinical best practice and restrictive practices
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills to manage workload and reporting deadlines
- Strong communication skills to raise and discuss sensitive topics
- Ideally have experience in the not-for-profit and/or disability support sector
- Experience working with families and relevant stakeholders to support clients
- Understanding of a neuro-affirming framework
- Criminal History Check
- Working with Children Check
- Understanding of implementing Positive Behaviour Support intervention under NDIS framework

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
