Our client is at the forefront of their industry, working with businesses, government, and individuals to make an impact on Australia’s social and economic growth.

Due to a period of transformation, they are building out their payroll function and are in need of an experienced Payroller to join their team, partnering with both Finance and HR.

They are located in the Sydney CBD and offer hybrid working arrangements with 1-2 days in the office. They are open to considering both Full-Time and Part-Time options.

**The Role**:
As the Payroll Officer, your duties will include:

- Maintaining all employee data for payroll
- Working with the outsourced provider to run fortnightly payroll
- New starters, terminations, changes in pay, leave requests
- Payroll reporting and analytics
- Assist with accounting entries (journals, tax, reconciliations)
- Manage the payroll inbox and deal with enquiries
- Work with HR and Finance on streamlining payroll processes and data flow

**Your Background**:
To become a valued member of the team, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- Seeking either Full-Time or Part-Time employment
- Available to start from 3rd April
- Prior experience with end-to-end payroll (preferably 50+ employees)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with payroll tax, journals, reporting
- Experience with salary packaging is desirable but not essential
