Full-time position

About the position:
We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Draftsperson/Technician. This role will support

the design and layout of electrical installations, and prepare electrical drawings, plans and diagrams.

Essential criteria and skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be a team player
- Minimum of three years’ experience
- Formal qualifications relevant to the role is an advantage
- An interest and willingness to learn and work with Digital Engineering (BIM) tools is

essential.

**Duties**:

- Assisting electrical engineers in undertaking detailed designs
- Assist in the changes to the design of electrical comms/conduits before implementation

based on on-site surveys
- Add any onsite changes that differ from the original design for approval
- Assist in organising the install teams with the electrical engineering project managers to

leave work ready for final connection and installation at junction boxes on new and existing

residential and commercial sites
- Testing of installed comms and conduit systems, collating all data and providing assistance

where the desired performance has yet to be reached.
- Assist the team responsible for estimating raw material costs, dig permits, plant hire, labour

costs and any other additional costs identified.
- Research existing drawings and reports to identify snag points, existing services, high voltage

lines, environmental controls and access.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
