Patch Personnel has been engaged by a leading engineering consultancy with a focus on functional safety and automation, and they require an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Designer / Draftsperson to join on a permanent basis.

**About the Role**
- Preparation of discipline drawing types including single line diagrams, general arrangement drawings, Hazardous Area drawings, distribution board schedules, motor schematics etc
- understanding of multidiscipline drawings such as piping and instrumentation diagrams, piping isometrics
- Prepare “As-Built” drawings from red-line mark-ups
- Management/maintenance of “Master” drawing folders
- Maintain Company design drafting procedure
- the role also encompasses the document control function for the business

**About You**
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering is desirable
- demonstrated experience in electrical/instrument design and drafting
- Experience in Oil & Gas or Minerals Processing industries
- Basic understanding of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous areas
- Previous exposure to basic document control systems (desirable)
