**Skills & Experience**
You will be a
**construction lawyer (with front and back-end experience)** at the Senior Associate or Special Counsel level (8-10 year PAE level).
**Your new role**
Will see you working closely with one Partner and bringing your knowledge of the following legislation
- security for payment legislation across Australia (particularly NSW and VIC), Australian Standards Contracts, Building Act 1989 (NSW), Building Act 1993 (VIC), Home Building Regulation (2014 (NSW), Building Regulations 2018 (VIC), Domestic Building Contracts Act 1995 (VIC) National Construction Codes_ is preferred however not essential.
Your
**front end experience** will include drafting and negotiating construction contracts and transaction documents and providing advice to clients on contract administration and claims. Your
**back-end experience** will include drafting pleadings and Court documents, supporting the Principal in large scale arbitration and litigation, complex and multi-faceted contract dispute resolution, and other varied building, construction and project work.
