Construction & Projects

The Construction & Projects team advises government authorities, developers, investors and contractors across Australia. This advice covers the entire spectrum of construction matters including project procurement, forms and contract preparation, asset management, industry regulation and dispute resolution.

The team is led by a group of outstanding partners and is consistently ranked by leading independent legal publications.

Position Description

Due to a member of the team moving to an in house role, the Sydney office of this national law firm has a rare opportunity to join their busy construction team for a junior-mid level lawyer.

This role will see you working on complex and interesting front end and back-end construction work. You will be reporting to and working closely with two well-regarding partners within a friendly and close-knit team that is made up of a number of special counsels, senior associates and lawyers at varying levels.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have between 2-4 years' PAE from a recognised construction practice. A degree of exposure to either front or back end construction work is essential.

In addition, you will possess:

• A strong interest in maintaining a mixed front and back end practice;
• Ability to build long term client relationships; and
• Ability to work well within teams and autonomously.
