WesTrac has an opportunity for a **Commercial and Contract Manager** to lead a fantastic team on a full-time basis at our South Guildford location.

Using your strong strategic insight, as the Commercial and Contracts Manager you will develop and execute business unit strategies for reducing WesTrac’s commercial exposure and maximizing the financial opportunities available to WesTrac. Additionally, as a leader, you will provide guidance to the Commercial and Contracts Team providing appropriate direction to key stakeholders.

Accountable for overseeing the commercial negotiations and execution of sales contractual agreements across Western Australia, you will be responsible for the establishment and implementation of processes and systems in the Business Unit to ensure contracts are appropriately managed and remain suitably governed and compliant, resulting in optimal commercial outcomes for the business.

**Role accountabilities include; but not limited to**:

- Provide Commercial and Contracts leadership, direction, advice and support to teams as required.
- Encourage collaboration across the business to share best practice and create efficiencies.
- Provide commercial support, to internal and external stakeholders on all sales contract matters.
- Manage the contracts team to deliver day to day commercial support to internal stakeholders.
- Provide a central point of contact for claims, commercial and contractual notices.
- Promote and support contractual compliance through engagement with responsible teams within WesTrac. where appropriate liaise with Customer’s and/or Caterpillar.

**To be successful the following is required:
- Tertiary qualification within either of the following disciplines; Engineering, Commercial or Business, coupled with strong experience within a Contract Management position within a similar industry or, with demonstrable experience in the establishment and execution of high value contracts.
- Post-Graduate qualification within the business/commercial field is desirable.
- Strong people management experience with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Highly developed facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage with various audiences.
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow through with required actions.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to draft contractual agreements, produce reports, analyse data and provide appropriate recommendations for actioning.
