Commercial Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Commercial Manager to join our Commercial Advisory & Enablement team - This full-time, permanent role is business-critical for managing Kinetic IT's commercial risk position.

As a central role in managing Kinetic IT's corporate leasing, insurance, and Intellectual Property framework - you'll be the Commercial Lead for customer sourcing events (RFTs, RFIs, and RFQs), reviewing contract terms, and formulating contract qualifications to ensure they align with the company's legal and commercial standards. To also negotiate and execute complex subcontractor and partnership agreements, and manage the commercial lease portfolio.

Further overview of your typical responsibilities will include:

• Act as a Commercial lead for customer sourcing events and corporate leasing arrangements, including negotiating acceptable contract positions and securing internal approvals for key risk provisions.
• Manage Kinetic IT's program of insurance, ensuring it remains current with the company's strategic direction and growth.
• Develop and implement commercial engagement strategies, including creating contract templates, guidance packs, and delivering training to relevant teams.
• Protect Kinetic IT's Intellectual Property and provide expert advice on commercial risks across various business areas.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for the contract management team to resolve customer disputes, and liaise with the commercial assurance team on post-contract execution requirements.

For further consideration, we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications, ideally in a related discipline (e.g. Commerce, Finance, Law, Accounting or IT).
• Suitably experienced within Commercial Management, Contract Management, or Legal (Commercial), with demonstrated expertise in negotiating commercial and/or contract terms.
• Past experience working in a Procurement or Commercial Contract capacity would be highly regarded.
