**About the Role**

The department provides business divisions with financial information and services to enable them to make effective business decisions. It also implements and monitors effective financial controls. The Budgeting and Reporting division’s main function is to manage the budgeting and management reporting processes both locally and for Canon Inc. This is a Macquarie Park based hybrid role & reports to the Assistant Manager

**Main Duties**
- Provide administrative and systems support to the Budget and Reporting team and cost centre managers in the preparation of all budgets, capex, plans and forecasts.
- To ensure divisional submissions are received in a timely manner so that budgets, capex, plans and forecasts are completed within the required timeframes.
- Contribute to strengthen financial controls through monthly variance analysis between budget and actual
- Identify business issues through the budget processes and propose improvements to the process
- Constantly adhere to and support system and procedure improvements
- Work together with other divisions to set up the company’s KPIs each year

**About You**

We are looking for someone with high attention to detail & ability to work with different teams. Key skills & experience include:

- Business Degree, Accounting Degree, or similar discipline
- Intermediate spreadsheet skills, excel and power point
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competence and timelines in completing tasks
