About the team and role:
The Pacific Finance team is responsible for providing first class finance support to the Pacific Business including cost control, budgeting & forecasting and monthly variance analysis. The team provides finance support for most departments, including Sales, Marketing and Product/Content teams. The Junior Finance Analyst works alongside the Pacific Finance team to ensure the accuracy of cost forecasting within the LN Pacific Business to allow the business to make better data-driven decisions. The position reports to the Finance Manager (Cost Vertical) and provides support to the Pacific Business (including the Pacific in market teams, APAC Strategy and Finance, Global FP&A).

The Junior Finance Analyst role sits within the Cost and Capital Finance team providing support to the team for OPEX and Cost of Sales planning and monthly reporting cycles. The role will be a key support to the team in the month-end review of costs and distribution of reporting packs to key business stakeholders along with assistance to prepare and input planning numbers during the budget and forecast cycle. Best suited to someone with an accounting qualification just starting out in their career, the Junior Analyst role will provide exposure to month-end and forecast processes in a large matrix style organization and the opportunity to develop business partnering and technical skills in a supportive team environment.

This is a fixed term contract role (12 months) to be based in Sydney with a hybrid working model. There is potential for the role to go permanent.

To be successful, you’ll bring with you:
- Tertiary Level Education (Accounting) along with hands on Accounting Experience (1 to 2 years work experience in FP&A/Management Accounting).- A willingness to learn and grow with the position and business. A can do attitude will take you far in this role.- Strong Excel skills.- Proactive team player - collaborative work approach must be accountable, responsible, and organized.- Sharp organizational skills with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.- Ability to perform essential duties with efficiency and accuracy.- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
