You will actively manage allocated claims matters and provide administrative support for the collation of natural disaster claims submissions in line with relevant federal and state government funding arrangements. Furthermore, you will take the initiative in seeking out instances where claims and redress considerations are required, engaging proactively with peers and aligning with the Department of Health's operational plan to identify key actions that may necessitate the involvement of Insurance Services.
Your expertise will extend to critically analysing and recommending improvements to existing and proposed claims and redress materials, including the Insurance Services on-line support material, processes, claim templates, relevant sections, and controls within the Financial Management Practices Manual (FMPM). Your role will also include providing administrative support to facilitate the implementation of agreed-upon improvements as required.
The successful personTo excel in this position, you must possess a history of recognizing, analysing, and effectively communicating issues, along with a proven ability to propose successful solutions that drive operational improvements. Your demonstrated conduct of honest, ethical, and professional behaviour, coupled with a strong sense of accountability for accurate work completion and responsiveness to feedback, are essential attributes for success in this role.
