**Your Key Accountabilities will include**:

- Conduct needs analysis in conjunction with management to determine training requirements of staff and contribute to the development of strategies to meet these requirements.
- Lead the development, and delivery of Custody and Property training programs in accordance with policies, best practices, procedures and standards.
- Provide high level strategic advice to senior management on organisational Custody and Property training initiatives that support a compliance driven and continuous improvement culture.
- Undertake assessment of staffing Custodial and Property management capabilities and prepare reports based on these assessments.
- Establish and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable effective coordination, development, and delivery of training solutions to advance the Custody and Property Management capabilities of the QPS. Undertake the assessment and evaluation of internal training and development programs.
- Establish and maintain information management and other administrative systems to monitor the training and assessment of staff.

The occupant of this position will report to the Inspector State Custody Unit.
The occupant of this position will be expected to oversee and coordinate Trainers and Subject Matter Experts in Custody and Property management.
