About the Role
As the Training and Development Coordinator you will have responsibility for the following:

- Conduct research, including Training Needs Analysis, on issues relative to training and development, and provide advice on future directions, professional development strategies and appropriate initiatives for training and development. (SFIA Level 6 - ETMG)
- Collaborate with relevant external business units to develop training plans based on needs identified in the IT Service Centre's strategic plans, skills audits and performance development plans, review the implementation and evaluate the outcomes. (SFIA Level 4 PDSV)
- Investigate, collaborate, coordinate and deliver training and informational sessions that meet the identified needs for IT Service Centre staff through the use of a wide range of delivery methods including video, face to face, interactive and externally delivered.
- Coordinate, develop and deliver professional development activities and information sessions to facilitate staff induction and ongoing training requirements including the support of new projects and services.
- Develop, facilitate and review training procedures, processes, benchmarks and key performance indicators ensuring alignment with IT Service Centre and Information and Technologies strategic direction.
- Maintain appropriate information systems to enable the effective recording, processing and reporting of staff training and development and information which align to IT Service Centre's business, operational and strategic planning.
- Proactively contribute as a capability team member, cross skill with the unit to undertake a range of tasks to provide a comprehensive and continual service to internal and external clients.
- Investigate, collaborate, coordinate and conduct specialised training, coaching, and assistance ensuring a smooth delivery of all new projects, services, processes and tools.
- Assess review and evaluate tools, processes and training material and report recommendations or inconsistencies.
