**The Company**

This manufacturing business has delivered excellent results through a strong focus on reducing cost through better processes and driving plant reliability. To continue developing in this area and keep delivering great results, they are now recruiting for a Maintenance Manager in their site in Brisbane.

**The role**

Reporting into the Site Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include;
- Lead and develop the maintenance strategies and team within the plant, ensuring KPI’s around; OEE, machine reliability, uptime, stoppages and OH&S are adhered to.
- Developing the maintenance team in fault finding techniques, RCA, Fishbone Diagrams and other methodologies to facilitate a thorough and proactive maintenance culture.
- Building cross collaboration between Maintenance and Production, this also includes upskilling of production staff to attend to minor maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement the maintenance strategies for the site.

**Your background**

In order to be successful in this role, you will be:

- Must have experience working within fast paced manufacturing sector, ideally within the FMCG space.
- Extensive experience developing and implementing maintenance strategies to bring about a proactive and preventative maintenance culture.
- You will be a strong communicator, both verbal and written with excellent problem solving abilities.
