**Manager, Environment & Quality is responsible for the development, implementation & management of strategies to improve the environment.**

With over 850 employees across its Australian operations and a turnover in excess of $1.2 billion, this organisation is committed to operating in an environmentally responsible way, with the aim to prevent harm to the environment and the community.

Reporting directly to the VP Operations for Australia, the Manager, Environment and Quality (E&Q) will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of strategies to improve the environment and sustainability performance of the site. You will lead the E&Q function by building on existing frameworks to ensuring the E&Q strategy aligns with company goals to execute key improvement plans and projects for operational teams, contractors and consultants. Managing key stakeholder relationships across a large complex industrial environment, you will develop action plans to improve levels of toxicity and lead-in-air (LIA) outcomes within the organisation and local community. In addition, you will oversee the E&Q management system, ensuring an integrated site management system, including monitoring and improvement strategies, audits and evaluation on environment impacts.

This is a high-level E&Q leadership opportunity with a well-established global minerals processing organisation, where you can think creatively, whilst implementing and delivering change with environment, quality, safety and people front of mind.
