The Community Services Group (CSG) is comprised of three programs, National Production Services, Decision Support Services and Environmental Prediction Services. These programs are configured to enable scalable, national, and resilient services to the community.

The Roster Designer will lead the design of CSG's rosters to ensure optimal availability of the skilled professionals who support national operations.
The Roster Designer will work closely with the National Operations Coordination Team (NOCT). NOCT has these primary responsibilities:
- Ensuring appropriate operational resources are available with enough lead time, while maintaining staff safety and well-being.
- Monitoring and planning for longer term operational capacity and competency requirements across CSG.
- Coordinating national rostering in liaison with operations team leads, for routine, seasonal, event and incident management rosters.
