**TEN Recruitment** is currently recruiting on behalf our client in the Food Manufacturing industry.

They are looking to hire **Quality Assurance Manager** on a permanent basis.

We seek a driven and experienced individual to spearhead the Quality Assurance and Food Technology role, working with a close-knit team you will use your own initiative and resilience to lead a team of 6 to 8 people.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee compliance with quality, food safety regulations, and customer requirements
- Support departments in achieving quality and food safety compliance
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations
- Maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Manage sanitation, allergen, and environmental testing
- Conduct internal audits and maintain documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Investigate and report on non-conformances
- Perform calibrations and verification checks
- Test and release finished products

**Requirements**:

- A good knowledge of Australian food legislation, regulations, and standards
- 3 to 5 years experience in the Meat, Chicken or Fish industry is preferred
- Internal auditing qualifications and experience with 3rd party audits
- Proficiency in documentation control and maintenance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in food manufacturing/quality control
- Food Science qualification preferred
- Passion for food quality and safety
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Be a team player
