**Customer Service Representative**
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Claims Representatives to join our growing team in Brisbane.
Reporting to the Customer Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers by way of developing strong and effective relationships, championing communication, and determining workers’ compensation claims that balance customer needs.
Our client has been providing workers’ compensation insurance in Queensland for more than twenty years. Supporting Queensland workers and businesses is at the heart of everything they do. From customer service and managing claims, to accessing rehabilitation, preventing injuries, and making sure employers have the right cover to protect their team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Gather information for determination and payment of claims within the set KPIs
- Provide customers with professional customer service and achieve key service levels in the Contact Centre
- Action requests received on settled and closed claims in a timely manner ensuring the continuation of high levels of customer service are delivered to injured workers even after the conclusion of their claims
- Record information accurately to meet business requirements
- Work together with all groups to ensure seamless customer service delivery
- Process improvements identified and implemented
- Ensure that all records are maintained in accordance with record management policies and procedures and meet legislative and business requirements
**Skills and Experience**
- Relevant studies in the insurance environment would be highly regarded (but not essential)
- Previous administrative experience in insurance and high volume processing in a customer focused commercial insurance environment and/or a call centre
environment will be highly regarded
- Well developed interpersonal skills to develop rapport and interact with customers and others
- Ability to manage high volume telephone calls in a timely and
professional manner
- Highly developed customer experience skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and actively contribute to a team environment
- Ability to meet service levels and team goals by establishing and maintaining good working relationships
**An intensive paid 8 week academy training process will be provided as past of this position.**
**Starting salary is $68,000.
