**About the role**

The Privacy Compliance Analyst, forms part of the HR Risk and Compliance team to implement, ensure compliance and to monitor the Data Management and Privacy Policies and Standards across Rabobank Australia and New Zealand. The role works closely with the regional Data Management Office (DMO) and assists the Senior Manager, Payroll, Risk and Compliance to support HR’s adoption and implementation of the regional data management and privacy frameworks. This includes compliance with policies, data management, privacy and record keeping.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Payroll, Risk and Compliance and assists with more general risk related matters including regular reporting, further implementation of the Risk and Control Framework and additional projects as required. This is an exciting role to drive change through the Human Resources Department.

Data management is an exciting and growing area as businesses are increasing the volume of data being generated and due to the increasing focus from regulators locally and globally through the implementation of new regulations. This role will sit in Human Resources to operationalise the target operating model for Data Risk Management to drive compliance.

**Some of the responsibilities and accountabilities include**:

- Support business owner to ensure compliance of Risk Framework Governance, policies & escalation including advise, assist, discuss changes, identify gaps, report and escalate matters including use of Archer, the risk and control framework system.
- Supporting the Senior Manager, Payroll, Risk and Compliance on Risk and Compliance management including day to day operational support, reporting, monitoring and escalation of risk related matters including assisting preparing the monthly In Control Reporting and taking minutes of the meeting.
- Review ongoing screening alerts from Accuity/Compliance link.
- Investigations and due diligence as required and escalating to compliance where required.
- Identifying data risks and developing controls and managing data issues within and across the relevant HR Teams.
- Developing and managing data assets including Business Glossary and Data Dictionary, through working with the Data Management Office (DMO) and the HR SME.
- Implementing Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) for processes and systems in HR with assistance from the HR SME.
- Responsible for attending regular Privacy Domain Meetings to provide status of Privacy management activities (e.g., Remediation).
- Completing a quality review of the final draft documents prior to submission to the approval body. This ensures adherence to the PPM requirements and correct use of templates
(PHP)) including Key Policies and Standards that may be upcoming for review.

**To be successful in the role, you will have**:

- Bachelor of Commerce/ Economics/ Business/ Laws or relevant industry qualification, or proven solid banking and finance expertise
- Six Sigma White-Belt certification - desirable
- Experience within Legal, Compliance or Operational Risk in organisations of a similar size and complexity
- Experience in managing risk, evaluating risk and reviewing risk
- Experience with project and change management
- Experience in translating business need into robust processes, reporting and recommended system requirements
- A knowledge of causes, influences and drivers of Privacy, Data Risk Management, Operational and Compliance risks
- Quickly understand how databases, systems and processes work, always seeking to improve efficiencies as well as making the most of the information available
