Byron Shire Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic Project Control Support Officer. The position plays a key role in delivering quality cost control tracking, procurement support, and providing technical and administrative support to the internal delivery of Natural Disaster Works and Construction projects delivered by Infrastructure Services Works crews.
Some specific tasks include:
- ensuring supporting documentation is valid, accurate, complete and complies with relevant Natural Disaster Guidelines for proposed infrastructure recovery reimbursement claims
- assisting the Works Construction team to review, improve and create new delivery systems for construction delivery, in particular cost control and data capture from construction projects
- managing and tracking resource costs on a daily basis for projects.

**Location**:
This position is based at Byron Depot, however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
